Booking & Payments

How do I book a tour?

You can book directly through our website or contact us at info@pathfindermoto.com. Once your place is confirmed, we’ll send you full trip details.

How much deposit do I need to pay?

A deposit of £[amount or %] secures your place. The remaining balance is due [X weeks] before the tour start date.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit cards and secure online payments through our payment provider.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Please contact us to arrange a payment plan.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Can I transfer my booking to someone else?

In most cases, yes. Contact us as soon as possible and we’ll advise if a transfer is possible.

Rider Requirements

Do I need a motorcycle licence?

Yes. You must hold a full, valid motorcycle licence appropriate for the bike you will ride.

Is there a minimum age?

Riders must be at least [minimum age, e.g. 21 or 25]. Some tours or bikes may have higher age requirements.

Do I need riding experience?

Yes. Our tours are designed for confident riders. You should be comfortable riding long distances and varied road conditions.

Are your tours suitable for beginners?

Most tours are not suitable for complete beginners. Please contact us and we’ll recommend the right trip for your experience level.

Motorcycles & Equipment

Can I bring my own motorcycle?

Yes, on many tours. Please check the specific tour page for details.

Do you provide rental bikes?

Yes. We can arrange rental bikes on selected tours. Options and prices are listed on each tour page.

What bikes are available?

Available models vary by tour and location. Contact us for the latest list.

Do you provide helmets and gear?

We recommend bringing your own gear for comfort and safety. In some locations, helmets may be available on request.

What gear should I bring?

We recommend:

  • Full protective riding gear

  • Waterproofs

  • Gloves (warm + summer)

  • Boots

  • Casual evening clothes

  • Personal items and medication

A full packing list will be sent before departure.

The Tour Experience

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. Travel insurance that covers motorcycle riding is mandatory.

What happens if my bike breaks down?

We provide support and assistance. Depending on the situation, we’ll repair, recover, or arrange a replacement where possible.

What if I have an accident or get sick?

Our guides are trained to assist and will help arrange medical support if needed. Please ensure you have suitable insurance.

Is there a support vehicle?

Some tours include a support vehicle for luggage and assistance. Check your tour details.

Travel & Logistics

Do I need a visa?

This depends on your nationality and the destination country. Please check government travel advice before booking.

What airport should I fly to?

We’ll provide recommended airports and arrival instructions once you book.

Can you arrange airport transfers?

What luggage can I bring?

What type of accommodation is included?

We use comfortable, rider-friendly hotels or guesthouses. Rooms are usually twin or double unless you request single occupancy.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. Please tell us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Weather & Conditions

What weather should I expect?

Conditions vary by location and season. We’ll send guidance before your tour, but always be prepared for changing weather.

Do tours run in bad weather?

Tours usually run rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe.
